In this French romantic comedy Brigitte Bardot plays Sophie, a capricious young model who realizes her boyfriend may be leaving her for another woman. This leads her to plan a dangerous revenge. The film includes a nude dance arrangement, which was risky during the release of the film.
Sophie is not happy with the status of her relationship with successful reporter boyfriend Philippe, but she is not having it when rich American girl Barbara tries to take him away from her. She decides that she will regain Philippe’s love back or kill Barbara. Sophie has her doctor friend Alain help her in making Philippe jealous. Alain decides to help her, for he does not want Sophie committing any murder. Sophie and Alain follow Philippe and Barbara to a ski resort in Italy. Alain starts to fall in love with Sophie.
