Rick Belrow Livingston is taken to jail for 30 days for speeding. He is head over heels for Broadway star Lisa and convinces the judge's daughter, Cindy, to set him free for a night in order to see Lisa for her birthday. Cindy ends up falling in love with him after they go out on the town.
