Distributed by Warner Brothers, Three Sailors and a Girl is a 1953 romantic musical film directed by Roy Del Ruth.
Finally returning to New York after a long cruise where they couldn’t spend their money, three sailors have money to burn. When they see beautiful Penny Weston they are smitten, and are convinced to put their money into producing a musical show with her as the star.
Although things don’t start out well, with show looking like it’s going to be a flop, with the help of the sailors and the talents of Penny it turns into a success.
