This film takes place in the New Mexico territory of Eagle Pass, where Sheriff Hanley has no control in stopping the criminals who are making the ranchers pay for protection against their own men. Dan Forester is the town’s newspaper editor who requests the help of U.S. Marshal Whip Wilson’s help along with his daughter Anita and rancher Jamison. Whip travels from Texas with his deputy, Jud Calvert as one of the men tells the criminals of Whip’s arrival. They try to kill Whip and Jud, but they manage to arrive in town alive. More problems arise when they arrive in town and they try to make the town better and safe.
