Brandy Kirby and corrupt Lawyer Vincent Mailer come up with a plan to have a man impersonate the missing son of William and Maida McIntyre so they can steal from them. Brandy uses her charisma and convinces gambler Lefty Farrell into pretending to be the missing son. Kathy, the McIntyre's niece, has a crush on Lefty and when William and Maida see him, they are sure he is their son. Lefty is not comfortable with the idea and informs them of Mailer’s deception. Brandy and Lefty then begin a relationship together.
