An American scientific exploration in the Antarctic is delayed when a group of men whom appear to be upset are chasing and shooting a dog. The helicopter chasing the dog crashes, leaving a mystery surrounding the chase. Later that night, the dog transforms and fights with the other dogs and associates of the exploration. The group quickly discovers that an alien with the capabilities of entering one’s body is around and is not sure whom this has affected.
