Lieutenant Mike Baker is responsible for bringing in his brother 'Ringo' Baker after he shoots an Army Captain in New Mexico in self-defense. Ringo runs into the U.S Cavalry patrol led by his brother and ends up injuring Mike as he runs off to the town of Gunlock. There he becomes friends with Glenn Larrabee who is the owner of a small ranch, but his property is controlled by Wade Proctor. Ringo teams up with Glenn to fight against Proctor as his brother arrives in town.
