A handy telephone technician puts his intelligence of electronics to use by arranging a gambling exploitation for a man in Los Angeles. He starts running the man’s business after the man is killed. He vindictively makes a name for himself in the neighborhood crime organization, yet mobsters from the East Coast come looking for him. They demand money from him.
