Several inmates, including killer Arnold Kluger escape from Folsom Prison. Kluger is determined to go after the detective and district attorney who sent him to prison. He finds the two men and showgirl Carol whom he believes told on him. They all wait along with two henchmen and four hostages for an escape plane in the California desert.
