Villainous brothers Paul and Edmond Devereaux (George Reeves and Paul Valentine) commit a daring daylight train robbery, where four witnesses are killed after one of the brothers' faces was revealed. Special railroad agent Johnny Douglas (William Eythe) is put in charge of the investigation, and pursues the brothers relentlessly, aided by heroine Lucille Peters (Kasey Rogers), whose father was one of the witnesses killed in the robbery. One of the rare roles where George Reeves, 1950's " Superman ," portrayed the villain . Filmed on location in an atmospheric small town in California.
