Jor-El is a scientist from the planet Krypton who sends his infant son to Earth just before Krypton explodes. A farmer named Eben Kent finds the boy and he and his wife, Artha adopt the boy and name him Clark. When they discover Clark’s special powers, his foster father only asks him to use the powers for good. His first job as a super hero is to confront The Spider Lady.
