Hoppy (William Boyd) finishes a cattle drive in a small town and gets caught up in a conflict between schoolmarm Miss Abott (Anne O'Neal) and Steve Mawson (John Parrish) who runs a saloon next door to the school. The dispute turns ugly when Miss Abott goes missing.  Hoppy investigates and all signs point to Steve Mawson, but Hoppy believes something else might be afoot.
