This documentary chronicles the exploits of the P-47 Thunderbolt pilots from the “Fighting Gamecocks” of the 65th Fighter Squadron from the 57th Fighter Group, based on the island of Corisca.  They flew from behind the Axis' flank as part of “Operation Stranglehold”, continuously attacking highways, bridges, ammo dumps, railroads and just about anything else that moved in an attempt to choke off the flow of supplies to the enemies front lines.
