On a quest to secure cheaper rent for the local ranchers, singing cowboy Gene Autry visits wealthy landowner Waldo Brooks (Sterling Holloway). Eager to take a break from his responsibilities, high-strung Waldo convinces Gene to temporarily take over his business. But Gene gets more than he bargained for when he learns he must raise $50,000 or risk losing Waldo's land. Lesley Selander directs this classic Western.
