Gene Autry stars in this film which centers on him and his friends being arrested by the Chief when the bank they are nearby is robbed. The Chief lets them go, only arresting them to confuse the actual bank robbers. Duke Mantel is part of the gang and steals all the money from them for himself. He finds himself at the same ranch where Gene is as the rest of the gang follows him. Gene and his friends end up being locked up in a building.
