A group of showgirls with their sponsor and manager take a vacation and relax at a Malibu Beach resort. Two of the showgirls are strangled to death. Charlie Chan comes to the rescue with the assistance of Number Two Son Jimmy and loyal chauffeur Birmingham Brown.
