Alicia Huberman turns to alcohol and men after her German father is convicted of treason against the U.S.  Government agent T.R. Devlin asks Huberman to spy on a group of her father's Nazi friends who are working in Rio de Janeiro. They become romantically involved as she gets more serious about the work she is doing.
