Reform school graduate Arlette (Ginger Rogers) is recruited and trained to be a master pickpocket by Professor Aristide (Basil Rathbone) at a criminal school in Paris. She is soon assigned to assist a corrupt foreign ambassador (Adolphe Menjou) to steal a priceless watch from a diplomat named Pierre (Jean-Pierre Aumont). However, Arlette bungles the job and falls in love with the wealthy and handsome man. An elaborate production with a good cast and lots of laughs.
