Johnny Farrell is crooked gambler who arrives in Argentina and is saved by the evil Ballin Mundson from a gunman. Mundson makes Johnny his right-hand man and they form a friendship based on no substance. Their relationship changes when Mundson arrives from a trip with a wife named Gilda, played by Rita Hayworth who is extremely beautiful. Johnny knows Gilda and dislikes her. Johnny and Gilda’s relationship is strange and it becomes mysterious when Mundson vanishes.
