Three men are condemned of robbing a bank. The most important proof against them are their fingerprints found at the bank . Despite the evidence, Charlie Chan finds them to be impeccable, and his examination shows that they are indeed not guilty. Their fingerprints were counterfeit and placed in the prison papers to blackmail them. Charlie goes after the real bank robbers.
