Ware College used to be a well-known Black college in Ware, Ohio, but is now low on money without students attending the college . Drury and Annabelle Brown are instructors at the college who are informed at a meeting by Dean Hargreaves that CEO Benjamin Ware III, grandson of the college 's founder’s estate is also worth nothing. They find the claim false and search for financial assistance through a reunion.
