Bill Whitley is an astronomer whose life is devoted to the new comet he has found and leaves no time for his beautiful wife Vicky. After her unconventional neighbor convinces her how astrology is real, she begins to visit a fake psychic every week named Margaret Sybill. After she reads that a great new man will appear in her life, she begins to believe it’s the good-looking Lloyd Hunter. Bill becomes nervous when he sees his wife becoming distant.
