A band of outlaws is raiding and burning every farmstead in the area. Then the destitute ranchers get an offer to buy their land at bargain prices from Ace Maxton (Don Costello). One of the ranchers that was killed was a friend of Hoppy’s (William Boyd) and he goes undercover as a dandy from Boston to investigate.  It doesn’t take Hoppy long to figure out Maxton is in cahoots with the outlaws and he rides out to stop them.
