A former New York City Cop and a gangster on the run meet up on an island off of the South American coast in this World War II thriller. A merchant marine is rescued after his steamship is torpedoed by U-Boats and he is taken to a tiny island. Once there, the former cop recognizes his rescuer as a former gangster with possible ties to the Nazi U-Boats patrolling the waters offshore.
