Good News: Hoppy (William Boyd) inherits a stake in a cattle ranch from a friend, Bud Lawton (Tom Seidel), who has passed on. Bad News: His friend was murdered. Even Worse: when Hoppy, California (Andy Clyde) and Jimmy (Jimmy Rogers) show up on the ranch, they find that Mark Foster has been replaced by an imposter! When Hoppy unmasks the imposter, they are arrested for murder by corrupt Sherriff Clem Martin (Roy Barcroft).
