Eddie Delaney is a second lieutenant in the Army, but was also a private detective when he was a civilian. When his father, police-sergeant Timothy J. Delaney, is gunned down by rubber racketeers Eddie arrives in town to avenge him. With the help of his brave friend Linda Ward and police-lieutenant William 'Bill' Decker, Eddie goes after the racketeers. Eddie, Linda and Bill deal with various criminals, like Marty Clark and John J. Underwood, the unscrupulous businessman and owner of the nightclub 'The Spot'.
