Jim Agnew is a young man sent by Gene to go on the train to sell cattle. After a fraudulent game of poker, Jim ends up losing the cattle. Gene knows something is wrong when Jim does not come back and goes out to find him. After an encounter with Stephanie, she provides Gene with a job on her father's ranch. Gene quickly discovers that her father Lock is the crook behind the fraudulent arrangement, but is taken by Lock’s henchmen. Gene must save Jim, for Lock is ready to kill him.
