McCoy is a cattle buyer who finds himself in debt from gambling. He goes to extreme measures when he minimizes his bosses’ price planning to receive the profit for himself after Gene and the other ranchers want to sell their cattle. When the ranchers discover McCoy’s plot, they attempt to move their cattle to another market, but McCoy’s henchmen blow up an area where a rancher is killed. Aware that McCoy tunes into the horse race results, Gene plans a fake radio broadcast with high hopes to capture him.
