The ranchers in the Red River Valley are faced with a severe drought and they must desperately raise funds in order to build a reservoir. Roy Rogers and the Sons of the Pioneers provide the entertainment for a fundraising event to help the ranchers reach their goal. When a gambler ends up swindling the ranchers out of their money, Roy and Gabby set out to track down the crooked man and get the money back for the ranchers.
