Steve Case is a banana company executive who is trying to persuade his former employee, Nick Butler to run his Caribbean plantation No 7. He rejects the offer since he found a new job in Chicago. He is also having problems with Lee Donley, a nightclub singer. Case finally manages to get Nick back to the plantation, but Nick may want to leave right away with Gloria, the wife of the ex-executive of the plantation.
