Shirley is an orphan who survives an Indian attack in the Canadian West. A Mountie and his girlfriend come to her rescue and take care of her. The community keeps suffering more tragedies from the Indians. Shirley intercedes with the Indian chief, which results in the Mountie’s life being saved.
