Federal Agent Gene Autry and his companion Frog are ordered to Mexico to obstruct foreign leaders from attaining jurisdiction of Mexican oil establishments and cultivating rebellion amid the Mexican population. Gene falls heads over heels with Senorita Dolores but has to leave her for the island of Palermo, where her uncle, Don Diego, is being stopped from sending his cattle to market by the foreign associates, who are in alliance with Dolores' brother Andreo. Gene and his pack are assaulted by Andreo and his men and the end is left with people dead.
