Guy Johnson is a detective who is sent to jail with his client, Willie Heywood, after Johnson hid Heywood in order to find the real murderer. Guy is sentenced to a year in prison, while Willie will get the death penalty. Guy finds something that can solve the mystery on his way to jail and runs from the police.
