This film is set during Revolutionary War America , where Gil Martin and his new wife Lana move to a farm in upstate New York. The area is secluded and a little far from the fort, but they are content with their living space. Their farm ends up being burnt down by savage indians with the war that has now begun after the Declaration of Independence. Sarah McKlennar helps out Martin and his wife as they try to rebuild their lives.
