Released by MGM in 1937, Mail and Female is an Our Gang / Little Rascals comedy short directed by Fred C. Newmeyer.

Alfalfa is in love with the pretty Darla, and has written her a love letter and has sent Buckwheat and Porky to deliver it.

At almost the same time the rest of the gang has founded the He-Man Woman Haters Club and elected Alfalfa as its president, although Alfalfa doesn’t know that yet.  When he finds out his first ruling is that anyone breaking the rules of the club will be swatted by the fearsome Spike!

Worried, Alfalfa has to retrieve the love letter from Darla before the gang finds out about it.  Knowing that he is being followed, Alfalfa resorts to dressing like a girl and masquerading as Darla’s cousin!
