Two comics set up a gala fundraising show to help the female owner of the theatre save it from creditors. Unfortunately, a mysterious figure has plans for the property and sets out to sabotage the program, starting by murdering the program's sponsor. The comics announce plans to reveal the identity of the killer at the gala, setting up a humorous and action-packed finale.
