Dr. Victor Sartorius is a committed medical researcher in Morocco, but is slowly dying. He becomes resentful when his resources are frozen and his experiments stopped. Lady Yvonne Clifford, the gorgeous wife of rich but old mogul Sir Charles Clifford comes to the dying doctor with a proposition. She reveals to him that she has been having a secret romantic relationship with a greedy army captain. Lady Yvonne tells the Dr. that she will give him 20,000 pounds to keep working on his experiments and become the personal doctor of her husband, which would entail him to murder him without anyone knowing it was him. Sir Charles' son Roger is next on his murder list when he enters the scene. The only thing blocking the Dr.’s plans is his benevolent nurse, Joan.
