Steve Grey is a reporter for the Daily Star, who is always making sure to obtain the rest of newspapers in town. Grey assists the police when Henry Mander is investigated for the murder of his crooked business partner by informing them what happened earlier. Mander is found guilty in court and sentenced to death. Columnist Mary Shannon is in love with Steve, but stars to realize why Steve is having problems concerning Mander’s execution and the story he told.
