John Wayne stars as government agent John Wyatt who is sent to bust up a counterfeiting ring close to the border of Mexico. John goes undercover with Doc Carter's medicine show to get closer to the bad guys. He discovers Curly Joe, a rustler who once framed Doc Carter. Curly Joe moves on Doc Carter, and it's up to John Wyatt to put an end to the bandit and stop the counterfeiting ring once and for all.
Paradise Canyon was remade three times - as Arizona Days starring Tex Ritter in 1937, The Rangers' Round up 1938, and Harmony Trail starring Ken Maynard in 1944.
Paradise Canyon was colorized and renamed Guns Along The Trail in 2008 by Legend Films.
This is one of a series of B-budget westerns that Wayne did throughout the 1930's before getting his big break in John Ford's Stagecoach in 1939.
