Don Middleton stops paying attention to his wife Elsa after his workload increases. Desolate Elsa and Don's best friend start spending more time together and find themselves falling for each other. Aware of her feelings, Elsa asks Don for a divorce. Little do they know how their decision has traumatized their daughter Molly. Molly escapes from her problems by running away when she discovers that Elsa is going to marry again.
