Washee Ironee is a 1934 Pathé release. This Our Gang / Little Rascals comedy short was directed by James Parrott.
Waldo, a local rich kid, wants badly to join the gang in a game of football but instead his mother insists that he practice his violin so that he can perform for her ladies’ club luncheon.
Regardless, Waldo sneaks out and joins the gang and soon his fancy clothes are covered in mud and he’s up to his ears in trouble. The gang, eager to help out, try their best to get his clothes cleaned up, including taking them to the local Chinese laundromat. The clothes do get clean, but also shrink.
The gang accompanies Waldo back to his house and crash the luncheon party, with the usual results, including a pet monkey throwing cream puffs at the society ladies.
