Little Martha Jane who is also known as Little Miss Marker is left by her father with the Sorrowful Jones, a bookmaker.  He leaves her with him as part of a deal on a horse race. Sorrowful and his group of associates do not want to bring her with them at first, but end up taking her. Their sarcastic behavior start to get under her skin and she wonders if a celebration at Camelot will bring back her trust in goodness.
