This Mascot Pictures serial is an update on the Alexandre Dumas classic tale.
Set in North Africa, the action revolves around Tom Wayne, an intrepid United States military pilot on a mission to find the murderer – a murder he has been framed for -- of his fiancé's brother Armand Corday.
The Three Musketeers are French Legionnaires Clancy, an Irishman, Renard, a Frenchman and Schmidt, a German. After Tom rescues the three men from attacking Arabs, he and the Legionnaires join forces to track down El Shaitan, the man Tom believes is responsible for the murder of Corday.
No one knows the true identity of El Shaitan, the leader of an anti-French and anti-Foreign Legion desert cult that meets at Devil’s Circle. The action and suspense build as various characters come under suspicion of being El Shaitan, and the four men seek their vengeance on the ‘Devil of the Desert’.
