Me Tarzan, you listen.  Each action packed episode explores the world of Darkest Africa and the exploits of ape-raised Lord Greystoke.  Creator Edgar Rice Burroughs was intimately connected with the initial program, which stayed close to the books.  The show was a family affair with both his daughter and son-in-law providing voices for the starring roles.  The show was recorded to phonograph and shipped to radio stations around the country to fit into their schedules.  Sponsor Signal Oil provided collectibles and promotions at their service shops, encouraging kids to convince their parents to fill the tank with Tarzan.
