Professor Quincy Adams Wagstaff has been appointed as the new president of Huxley College . His overbearing approach on education is not set apart on his son Frank, who is dating Connie Bailey, the college widow. Frank convinces Wagstaff to enlist two football players in order to beat their competitors, Darwin. Wagstaff confuses the boys and enlists the outsiders Baravelli and Pinky . When he discovers that Darwin had recruited the real football players, he orders Baravelli and Pinky to snatch them.
