After, Elvira Plunkett wins a beauty contest in Kansas she is given the chance to travel to Hollywood with her mother.  A modeling agent is also provided for her and she soon meets a movie star, Larry Mitchell who takes a romantic interest in her.

He helps introduce her to some directors with MGM and soon many men are interested in pursuing a romantic relationship with Elvira.  Who will she ultimately choose to help further her career and love life.
