A 1930 MGM release, Bear Shooters is an Our Gang / Little Rascals comedy short directed by Robert F. McGowan.
The gang wants to go camping and shoot some bear and, despite his mother’s orders to stay home and take care of Wheezer, who has the croup, Spud and the gang take Wheezer along with them and head out for an adventure.
They are doing pretty well in the woods until, unknowing, they stumble upon a moonshine operation. One of the moonshiners, trying to scare the gang away, dresses up in a gorilla costume. Sadly for him, he underestimates the gang’s resolve. Instead of running away, they go on a hunt to track down and capture the gorilla!
