Buddy Rogers stars in this film as a struggling band leader named Al West who is kicked out of his boardinghouse for making too much noise while rehearsing his music. Nancy Carroll plays charming Marjorie who saves him from being arrested. She is the headlining star at the Babylon Theater and helps Al and his band get a showcase at the theater. Problems arise after Al demands more money since he has become a hit, but is kicked out after a new band arrives in town. Marjorie helps him to get rid of the duo so he can get back on the stage.
