Poor Farina is fed up. He’s constantly being picked on by the gang, and his parents are always feuding. He’s running away from home!
Meanwhile, a chimpanzee who has been trained to box, but has been mistreated, escapes from the zoo.
When Farina and the chimpanzee meet up they become fast friends, and woe to anyone who messes with Farina now.
When the gang meets Farina’s new friend they all decide to put on a show, selling tickets to make money, but things go wrong when the chimpanzee has other ideas.
