Rufus Billings Jr. is a hypochondriac who stands to inherit a fortune in three years. He does not think he will live that long so he makes a deal to get $100,000 now in exchange for his later, much higher fortune to come. A new nurse, Dolores HIcks, gives him incentive to live!
